Super
Super designed and fabricated a set of oversized cricket stumps for Hopeful Monsters. An internal aluminium frame and large PVC tubes kept the structure lightweight, while printed timber-grain film, textured laminate and lathed bails gave the pieces an authentic finish at an unexpected scale.
Production detail
The complete structure was produced in one week and needed to travel, set up quickly and perform safely during a live match. A concealed aluminium base and artificial-turf pitch stabilised the stumps without interrupting the visual effect.
